CAP Job Club
11.00 am, Thursday, May 20th This 8-week course is designed to help people gain the confidence and skills needed to gain employment. By working through the course material with others you will learn key skills such as CV writing and interview techniques and will also have the opportunity for some one-to-one coaching.
CAP Job Club
Would you be able to help welcome our job club attendees, provide them with refreshments and encourage them on their journey to gaining employment? Or perhaps you have the skills to help with job searching and CV writing? If you can help, please get in touch.
Would you like to befriend one of our CAP clients? We come across many people that use our services who could use a little extra support, particularly after the year we have just had. You would be assigned a client who has asked to have support and your role would provide them with a listening ear. It might just be calling once/week on the phone, going for an occasional walk, or perhaps taking them out for a coffee or inviting them to church. Just being there for someone can make a difference.
Full training is given for both above roles. If you would like to attend the job club, or volunteer for either of the opportunities please speak to Revd Susan on Sunday after the service, or send an email to the office for her attention
